Polymax is a leading supplier of precision-engineered mechanical components, offering a wide selection of circlips designed to provide secure, efficient axial retention for shafts and bores. Our circlip range supports a variety of industrial and mechanical applications, from automotive assemblies to gear systems and beyond.
Our Circlip Range:
Polymax circlips are available in three primary styles—Internal, External, and E-Type—with a variety of sizes to suit both metric and imperial standards. Manufactured from high-quality carbon spring steel and stainless steel, our circlips are built for strength, resilience, and corrosion resistance in challenging environments.
Circlip Types:
Internal Circlips: Designed for installation inside a bore or housing, these circlips snap into a groove to prevent axial movement of components such as bearings or gears. Commonly used in automotive transmissions, hydraulic cylinders, and mechanical assemblies.
External Circlips: Fitted onto a shaft, these circlips retain components by providing a shoulder that resists axial force. Ideal for use in rotating assemblies, such as pulleys, wheels, and shafts, where secure and repeatable positioning is critical.
E-Type Circlips: These three-pronged circlips slide into a groove on the shaft and provide axial retention from one side. Quick to install and remove, they’re ideal for high-volume manufacturing and compact assemblies.
Material Options:
Carbon Spring Steel Circlips: Heat-treated for optimal strength and elasticity, suitable for most general-purpose mechanical applications. Often used in high-load or high-speed environments due to their fatigue resistance.
Stainless Steel Circlips: Offer excellent corrosion resistance and are suitable for marine, food processing, and medical applications where exposure to moisture or chemicals is common.
